卓奕，毕业于新加坡南洋理工大学，曾入围新加坡知名华语选秀节目 “才华横溢出新秀 2001” 前十二名，自此正式踏入演艺领域。多年后，他通过社区及教会舞台剧重燃对表演艺术的热忱，并持续活跃于舞台与银幕创作。

回归以来，卓奕在舞台及银幕领域积累了丰富经验，参演众多电视剧、短片及广告，并积极参与本地影视学校学生短片的拍摄，支持新晋创作者与本地影像创作发展。他曾参演多部 MediaCorp 电视剧，包括《新生》、《寂寞鱼听见》及《Shero》。近期作品还包括由 Mapletree 委托的 SG60 短片《Portrait》，他在片中饰演 Emil，一位在戏中协助灵体拍摄他们离开世界前的最后肖像的角色；以及由 MCCY 委托的四集短片《Bridge》，在其中饰演无家可归者 Keong，生动诠释社会边缘人物的挣扎与尊严。

 

在商业广告方面，卓奕曾为多个知名品牌及机构担纲演出，包括 Manulife、华侨银行（OCBC）、新加坡交易所（SGX）、Trust Bank、肯德基（KFC）、人力部、Dester 啤酒、保时捷、Aviva 保险及康辉旅行社等。

在舞台领域，卓奕创作并联合制作话剧《Catfished》（2023），并通过自创公司 The Flux Media 制作话剧《Surviving Hope》（2022）；他还参演《Changing Shift》（2023，与海燕等人旗下 The Etceteras 合作）及《四马路 2020》（由 The Theatre Practice 制作），展现其台上表演及幕后制作的全面能力。

 

此外，卓奕拥有丰富主持经验，曾主持 MCYS 晚宴（2006）、On a Street in Singapore 书籍发布会（2011）、The Search for True Love 新闻发布会（2015），以及多场企业晚宴和培训活动（ASUS、Fastacash、Spectrum AV、HPB、NTUC 等）。

 

在教育领域，卓奕为新加坡的多所私立大学的大众传媒与传播学讲师，并在 Hitmaker Music Academy 教授表演课程，指导并培养新一代表演人才。

Dennis Toh is a graduate of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He first entered the entertainment industry after being selected as one of the Top 12 finalists in Singapore's renowned Mandarin talent competition, Star Search 2001. Years later, he rekindled his passion for the performing arts through community and church theatre, eventually returning to the stage and screen with renewed dedication.

Since his return, Dennis has built an extensive portfolio across theatre, television, short films, and commercial productions. He has also actively supported Singapore's emerging filmmakers by appearing in numerous student films produced by local film schools. His television credits include Mediacorp dramas such as Babies on Board, Lonely Fish (寂寞鱼听见), and Shero.

Among his recent screen works is the SG60 short film Portrait, commissioned by Mapletree, in which he portrays Emil, a photographer who helps spirits capture one final portrait before they depart from the world. He also stars in the four-part short film Bridge, commissioned by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), playing Keong, a homeless man whose story poignantly reflects the struggles and dignity of individuals living on the margins of society.

 

In the commercial sector, Dennis has appeared in campaigns for numerous leading brands and organisations, including Manulife, OCBC Bank, Singapore Exchange (SGX), Trust Bank, KFC, Singapore's Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Dester Beer, Porsche, Aviva, and Chan Brothers Travel, among others.

Beyond acting, Dennis is also active as a theatre producer and creator. He co-created and co-produced the stage play Catfished (2023), and produced Surviving Hope (2022) through his company, The FLUX MEDIA. His stage acting credits also include Changing Shift (2023), produced in collaboration with The Etceteras, and Four Horse Road 2020, produced by The Theatre Practice, demonstrating his versatility both on stage and behind the scenes.

Dennis is also an experienced bilingual emcee and event host. His hosting credits include the MCYS Dinner (2006), the launch of the book On a Street in Singapore (2011), the press conference for The Search for True Love (2015), as well as numerous corporate dinners, conferences, and training events for organisations including ASUS, Fastacash, Spectrum AV, Health Promotion Board (HPB), and NTUC.

In addition to his creative work, Dennis is an educator in the field of media and communications. He lectures in Mass Communication and Media programmes at several private higher education institutions in Singapore and also teaches acting at Hitmaker Music Academy, where he mentors and nurtures the next generation of performers.
